Book Your Hunt

A deposit of 50% of the hunt cost is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon the first day of arrival for your hunt. Deposits are non-refundable. In the event that a cancellation is necessary, deposits can be transferred to another hunt if made within 60 days of the scheduled hunt.

At Hero Shot we believe in the let them go and let them grow policy. We operate on a 130 inch or 3.5 year old minimum. This allows us to manage our herd and allow the bucks to fully mature. With that being said anything harvested under 130 inches is subject to a $1,000 fine. The exception is cull bucks, youth hunters, and hunters over the age of 62 as there are no antler restrictions for these hunters. However, all fines are based on a case by case situation. Sometimes you only have a second to make that decision whether to shoot. We are not looking to fine people as we want you to harvest the deer of a lifetime.

I am often asked “if I wound a deer can I keep hunting?” Hero Shot will make every effort to retrieve any animal that you hit. If an animal isn’t retrieved then it is at the sole discretion of Hero Shot weather to allow you to keep hunting or consider it a kill. My advice is to practice as much as possible and take ethical high percentage shots and the kill will take care of itself.

For your 50% deposit we accept cash, check, money order, or cashier’s check. For the remaining balance of your hunt we accept cash, cashier’s check, and money order. If you wish to pay by credit card please contact us. There is a 3% processing fee for credit cards. All Active Duty, Veterans, and First Responders receive a 20% discount on their hunt. If you pay your balance at the time of booking, we offer a 10% discount. Only one discount can be applied per person.
